BELATED MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!
Woah, my Christmas went perfect!
Saturday
Prep time.
Since our family Christmas party will be held in OUR house, that means A LOT of cleaning to do, a LOT of cooking, a LOT of work. So, everybody in the house was at motion. And, hey! I was part of it! Ha, ha.
***
The guests started to arrive at around, erm, okay, I failed to recognize the presence of the clock when our first guest arrived, ha, ha, but that doesn’t matter, does it? Well, anyway, my mom was like so welcoming and all, and ALL the lights were opened that made the illusion that our house is BEAUTIFUL. Yeah, right. Ha, ha.
**
When everybody was here already, not to mention, starving, my Uncle announced that it is time to eat and initiated a prayer. We all went to the buffet table and eat. Oh, the food that was served are the following:
• Kare-kare (This was our contribution because each family was asked to bring something delicious and edible. My mom was in total regret on volunteering to do this, though. I tell you, IT IS SO MUCH A HASSLE to cook this stuff. Oh well.)
• Spaghetti
• Lechon (A sinful holiday treat!!!)
• Pizza
• Leche Flan ( That they forgot to serve, oh, yeah right.)
• Cappuccino cake (That sounds weird but it tastes like heaven.;))
Those were just sooooo delicious to resist. Everyone had gotten their plates jam packed. Ha, ha. So after we ate and sang a few songs on the videoke my mom rented, some realized they’ve overeaten. Like my Uncle, for instance. And my Aunt, too. Ha, ha. I guess the perfect remedy is that yucky-tasting beverage called Green Tea (Berdeng Tya’a!!?) and they were back in front of the videoke machine in no time. Ha, ha.

There was also a coffee lounge in the house, for the sleepyheads. You see, we MUST be up ‘til midnight for the Noche Buena and all, and that was quite an effort, wasn’t that? I tell you, our coffee maker is the best coffee machine on the planet! Ha, ha.:D Well, okay, at least, inside the house. The coffee tastes like the one in Starbucks, or Gloria Jeans, or Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, or Seattle’s Best. But NOT Figaro because I guess the coffee there is so, uhm, strong? He, he. Anyway, that was the first time I actually drank ONE CUPFUL of coffee. I NEVER drank coffee, I SIP A LITTLE amount but NEVER actually drank plenty of it. That was just so surprising.:D
OMG, maybe I am just growing older that my taste buds actually enjoys the taste of caffeine than ever before.
Undeniably, yes.

We had games and all, I even won this sort of game where you would sing ‘My toes, my knees, my shoulders, my head…’ only not in order. So it may go, ‘My knees, my nose, my knees, my toes...’
FUN.
After a couple or more games, we gave gifts (DUH, as if I have gifts, anyway). We had a Kris Kringle and there. It was fun as well. I received nice presents, oh, I love it:)

I decided to close my eyes at 3AM.:D
Sunday
Oh, Christmas day! We went to church and then went to my Grandparents’ house after a couple of hours. Then, we went to my maternal relatives to spread some love!!! Ha, ha. You know what I mean. We even went to this place at QC, at the house of my mom’s Aunt, and she told us that that house in front of theirs is Diether’s! Greaaaaaaat:)
***
Our next itinerary after that was my Uncle Benny’s house (the eldest brother of my grandma whom I never tried calling grandpa or lolo, but I think he is so okay with it, Uncle Benny I mean.). He gave them (NOT me, nor my brother.) P1500, I wonder why he always did that, doesn’t he realize that those people whom he was giving money earns P100,000+ monthly? Or maybe not that big, but still they have salary. Unlike me and my brother. HAHAHAHA, but it’s okay. I’m perfectly OKAY with that blueberry cheesecake they served. Oh God, I can’t resist sweets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next stop: My Maternal grandma’s family’s former house.
Tita Maricris showed me a family portrait of my grandmother’s whole family, and they are a big family! They are all beautiful, too! I swear. Whatever happened to that genes that I suspect evaporated on my DNA, but, whatever. They are smart kids, too, I learned. Auntie Mina (Apparently, I still call her Auntie but she is sooo my grandmother, too, you know, being my grandma’s sister.) told me that Grandma is a Geometric Genius because she always got a hundred on that subject. That means… She got an A in every quizzes, seatwork, exams, and all. OMG, I am so right about that genes thingy. Look how terrible my grade was on Geometry. It was sooo frustrating, really. Anyway, I’m proud of my grandmothers and grandfathers and my great grandfathers and great grandmothers as well for their geniuses and good looks.
And then, I chatted with my Grandmas and all, they are small people, you know. Like, 4’11, something. I don’t know, I don’t bring meter stick when I visit them, ha, ha. We were talking about cats, because they love cats, and I do, too. We also talked about my college school. I am still clueless, you see. But they asked me what course would I want to pursue, fortunately, I have something in mind and I told them Communications Technology Management OR Information Communication Technology. That’s when some of my Aunties came and joined the chat. They were like, ‘Oh, San Beda offers that course, and La Salle, too!’ And my mom goes, ‘Ateneo offers that course, too, it’s much nearer. But I want her to take up nursing.’ DAMN!
Fortunately, my grandma and grandpa was like, ‘Let her choose her own future. She’s old enough!’

Ateneo. Dream School. Ha!!

DLSU. I also wanna be here, you know, only if my mom wont stop me! @_@
MWAHAHAHAHA!

Christmas is fun although I ended up gift-less. Well, at least I received some from them. Yey:)
Monday
We went to Greenhills thinking there maybe fewer people than usual.
We were SO WRONG, there are sooooo many people. It’s crowded!!! I’m not even kidding! Hey, Christmas is finish, you know. And still…
Okay, like we can do something to let them evaporate. We continued shopping anyway. Ha, ha. I brought vintage tees and a pair of shoes! Ha, ha. I am desperate to have a jacket, though, so I looked for the perfect catch! Unfortunately, I ended up empty-handed. Oh, well, with those stuff I bought and tried on, my mom said something that surprised me, ‘You are very boyish.’
Am i!???? NOOOO! Ha, ha. Okay, maybe a little, but I really know what my sexuality is. Ha, ha.
We ate at Shakey’s. We all enjoyed the food, I think I even overate, again. But, whatever. Holiday meant eating, anyway, or I suppose, it’s part of it. Right??? Right?
I am sooo chubby!!!!!!

SM Megamall, here we come!!!!!
We went there and I used the gift cheques my Uncle gave. I brought the Ultraelectromagnetic Jam cd!!!! Yeheyy:) And another album. Then, I went to Powerbooks to read. I grabbed this South Beach Diet out of curiosity (Thinking that this MIGHT help in my weight loss plan, oh God, Diane, think again.). As I scan the pages, I realized that these foods are all so, not locally available. It’s hard to find some of the ingredients like the blahblah sprouts.

Went home totally regretting the fact that I WASN’T able to buy some doughnuts from Go Nuts. :(
I am addicted on it!!!!!!!!

photo from a certain site.
Tuesday
Mom and I went to Marquinton for her to go to a salon, for me to join her for some company, and for US to watch Mano Po 4: Ako Legal Wife.
***
While waiting for my mom at the salon, I read some of the magazines that they kept. Like Seventeen, this September issue that features the Guttierez twins and Isabel Oli.
I read this from that issue as well:
ViRGO Astro-Profile:
Best Matches: Capricorn, Taurus, Cancer
Best Avoided: Aries, Aquarius, Gemini
Yeah, right! Apparently two of my greatest crushes fall under the Aquarius and Gemini zodiac. But I’m not gonna believe because (that astro profile, I mean.):
1. My crush and I could be compatible, you know. I mean, I’m confident we have chemistry. Ha, ha.
2. My best friend is an Aquarian.
3. My other best friend is a Gemini baby.
4. My closest friends fall under those two signs. Gemini and Aquarius, I mean.
5. Well, this person I actually hate is a Capricorn child, and what the hell does that mean when it states ‘best matches’?! Are they insane, or what? Ha, ha. Well, I love some Capricorn child, anyway. Like,Macky, for instance.:)

My two best friends, Joan who happens to be a Gemini-an and Kring who happens to be an aquarian. Ha, ha:D

I also read Marie Claire, Summit media’s latest mag. It is very substantial. I love it to bits, I’m even planning of grabbing a copy (either by asking Tito Bong OR just spending my own bucks on it.)

We watched Ako Legal Wife and it was hilarious!!!!!!!!!! I laughed all throughout the movie! Ha, ha. Zsa Zsa acted great:)

My mom and I munched in at Hotshots, the burgers are great and all, I ended up so full, AGAIN. That burger is gigantic!
I am so sure this holiday season provided me with plenty of fats (Blame those irresistible food everywhere! There are sweets, my greatest weakness, all over! I CANNOT resist a black forest cake, or a cheesecake, or a donut, or a box of brownies, or cookies, or holiday candies. ARGH!).
Next year, I am determined to be a hundred pounds again.:)
Ciao! This is long already!
DiANE screams it all @ 11:42 PM ;
